Tips for the Perfect Fit

• Measure when your hands are at a normal temperature: fingers shrink in the cold and swell in the heat.
• Avoid measuring after salty food or a drink or two, as fingers can swell and give a false reading.
• Between two sizes? Choose the larger one for a comfortable fit.

Measure Your Finger

What you'll need:

• A thin strip of paper, about 8 cm (3 in) long
• A pen
• A ruler

Steps:

1. Wrap the paper around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.
2. Keep it snug, but not tight, for the most accurate measurement.
3. Mark the point where the paper overlaps.
4. Lay the strip flat and measure from the end to your mark in mm.
5. Find that number in the inside circumference column of the chart.

Measure a Ring You Own

1. Choose a ring that you, or the person you're buying for, wear often and that fits the same finger comfortably.
2. Measure straight across the inside of the ring, edge to edge, in mm.
3. Find that number in the inside diameter column of the chart.
