FAQ

Materials & Quality

What materials do you use in Atelier Angelle jewelry?

Every piece is crafted in 18K gold, 18K white gold or platinum. All of our diamonds are laboratory-grown, unless a product description states otherwise, and our colored gemstones are natural.

Are your gemstones natural?

Yes. Our colored gemstones, such as emeralds, are natural. Our diamonds are laboratory-grown: physically and chemically they are diamond, identical to a mined stone, and your certificate clearly discloses each stone's origin.

Do you provide certification for diamonds?

Yes. Laboratory-grown diamonds of one carat and above come with an independent IGI grading report, included in the price rather than charged as an extra. Smaller diamonds and colored gemstones are not supplied with a grading report unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

How do you ensure the quality of each piece?

Every piece is crafted in our private atelier, inspected before it leaves us, and hallmarked where required. Before any made to order or bespoke piece ships, we send you a film of it, worn on the hand or at the neck, so you can see exactly what you are receiving.

Will the materials change over time?

Gold and platinum do not rust or tarnish, and a diamond keeps its brilliance for life. Like all fine jewelry, pieces worn every day will show fine surface marks over time. If your piece needs attention, contact us and we will advise.

Craftsmanship & Production

How are Atelier Angelle jewelry pieces made?

Each piece is designed and crafted in our private atelier, through design refinement, metalwork, stone setting, polishing and finishing, combining skilled craftsmanship with a refined sense of proportion.

Do you offer mass production?

No. Every piece is made individually in our private atelier, never mass produced.

How long does production take?

Ready to ship pieces are already made, so there is no production time; they are dispatched within 2 business days. Made to order pieces are made in 12 to 15 days once your final design is approved. Timings for bespoke commissions are agreed with you at the design stage. See our Shipping Policy for delivery times.

Can I see the process during production?

Yes. For bespoke commissions, we are happy to share progress videos as your piece comes to life. Before any made to order or bespoke piece leaves us, we film it and share it with you, so you see your finished piece before it arrives.

What makes your craftsmanship different?

We design and craft everything within our private atelier, under one roof. That gives us the freedom to take on unconventional stone cuts and intricate settings, and complete control over quality and timing, which is why we can complete a piece in a fraction of the traditional wait time.

Care, Service & Aftercare

How should I care for my Atelier Angelle jewelry?

Avoid exposing your jewelry to chemicals, perfume, cosmetics or excessive moisture. We recommend removing your pieces before bathing, exercising, sleeping or doing household chores. To clean, use warm water, a little mild soap and a soft brush, then dry with a soft cloth.

Do you offer repairs or maintenance?

Yes. Every piece carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery, and if a stone works loose and you still have it, contact us to reset it. Damage outside the warranty, such as knocks or everyday wear, can usually be repaired; contact us for a quotation.

Can jewelry be resized?

Please contact us with your order number and the size you need, and we will advise.

What is your after-sales policy?

Ready to ship pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn and in their original condition. Made to order and bespoke pieces are made for you and are final sale. Every piece carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

How should I store my jewelry?

Store each piece separately, in its presentation box or a soft pouch, so stones cannot scratch other pieces and chains do not tangle.
