Your journey begins with an idea: a photograph, a sketch, or a personal story. Together, our design house and master jewellers will translate your inspiration into a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted entirely in-house.
Start your design
Where it begins
Whether you bring a saved photograph, a family stone, a specific hue, or simply the sense that the perfect piece does not yet exist, you are in exactly the right place.
Share your initial thoughts with us. Our designers will refine the elements you love into an original concept, entirely unique to you, ensuring your complete approval before crafting begins.
Because every commission is created in our private atelier rather than outsourced, we have the freedom to execute complex visions without compromise, and with exceptional efficiency.
Your design brief
Share as much or as little detail as you wish. Our designers will guide you from there.
Select the type of piece you have in mind. If you are undecided, our team will guide you through the selection.
These can change later. We will talk you through how each metal changes the way a stone reads.
This is the part we care about most. Sketches, photographs, a saved image, a piece you have admired, or simply a description in your own words. We will use it as a starting point and design something original for you.
A designer will read your brief personally and come back to you within one to two working days.
How a commission works
Nothing is cast, set, or finalised until you have reviewed and approved every detail.
We review your brief and discuss your vision by message, focusing not just on what you wish to create, but the story behind it. There is nothing to pay at this stage, and no obligation to go further.
Free, within one to two working daysOur designers create an original concept from your brief. We can share a CAD design with you on request, so you can see the exact proportions, and send photographs or film of similar pieces we have already made as references. For larger commissions a hand drawing is available on request. We refine it with you until it is right, within the rounds included.
Around two daysWe curate loose stones for your consideration, with their certificates where applicable,* allowing you to choose the exact diamond or gemstone for your piece.
Parallel processYour piece is cast, set, and hand-finished in our private workshop. We are happy to share progress videos as your piece comes to life. Before it leaves us, we will film it and share that with you so that you see your finished piece before it arrives.
12 to 15 daysInspected, hallmarked where required, and certified, your design arrives in signature presentation packaging, fully insured and tracked.
Insured and tracked* IGI certification is included for lab grown diamonds of one carat and above.
A note on the design stage
The conversation, the advice and the estimate cost nothing, and you are under no obligation at any point. If you would like us to go ahead and design your piece, we ask for a design fee of 10%, deducted in full from the price of your piece when you go ahead. The balance is due once you have approved your design and chosen your stone, before anything is made.
It is there for a simple reason. Every design is drawn from scratch by a person, and the fee lets us give real time to each commission rather than spreading our designer thinly across enquiries that were never going to become pieces. If you commission the piece, you never really pay it.
Deducted in full from the price of your piece when you go ahead.
Why commission with us
Most bespoke jewellers outsource production to third-party workshops, adding intermediary costs, weeks of delay, and rigid technical boundaries.
By designing and crafting entirely within our private atelier, we operate without restrictions. Whether you desire an unconventional stone cut or an intricate custom setting, every request is met with creative possibility. Working directly under one roof also gives us complete control over our timeline, allowing us to complete your piece in a fraction of the traditional wait time.
From our design studio
These are real working drawings from our studio. Every finished piece we make starts life as something like this.
Before you brief us
We welcome reference imagery. Rather than simply producing a direct copy, we analyse your image to understand the specific elements that draw your eye, the proportions, setting style, and stone orientation, and design an original piece around them. This bespoke approach ensures you receive a singular creation uniquely tailored to you, which invariably yields a far more satisfying result than a duplicate.
That is a completely natural place to start. Many of our finest commissions begin simply with a list of what you do not want. Share whatever you have, saved images, a preferred palette, an occasion, or a target budget, and our team will guide the conversation with the right questions to bring your design into focus.
Absolutely, reimagining existing gemstones is among our most rewarding work. Whether it is a family heirloom, an unworn piece, or a stone from a previous setting, we can reset it into an entirely new creation. Simply mention it in your brief, and we will guide you through the process.
Without exception. Crafting never begins until you have reviewed the design concepts and given your complete approval. If something is not quite right, we will refine it together until it is perfect.
Once the design is approved, production typically takes 12 to 15 days, substantially faster than conventional lead times because everything is crafted in our in-house atelier. The initial design phase moves entirely at your pace.
Because each piece is created exclusively for a single client, bespoke commissions are non-refundable. For this reason, we prioritise complete clarity during the design stage and begin crafting only when you are entirely certain.
The design fee is non-refundable, as it covers the time our designer spends creating your piece. Once you have approved your design and paid the balance, we order your stone and begin making; a cancellation from this point carries a 20% service fee. Once the piece has been fully made, that fee is 50%.
In the rare event of a craftsmanship defect, we will resolve it immediately.
